Shimmer Polish - Swatches Part II

Happy Monday!
It's only happy because I have school off today. ;)

Buuuuuut it's also happy because I have the second part of my swatches of Shimmer Polish.
You can view the first post here. (I replaced some of the photos so I would suggest checking it out!)

I'm just going to jump right in with the first polish which is Natalie which is described as a dusty Blue, Gold and Copper glitter polish. I think that's a perfect description. Before I put this polish on I wasn't entirely sold. But once I put it on, I loved it. Shown below is 3 coats plus top coat.

Gahhhhh so gorgeous! This polish does have pieces of holographic glitter as well.

Next is Courtney - a pink jelly polish filled with a rainbow of glitters.
Formula on this polish was great, shown below is 3 coats on it's own plus top coat.

Again, this polish also has holographic glitter in it. Love the shot below!

Okay next I have Cleo - a gorgeous Fuchsia jelly polish with indescribable glitter. Shown below is 3 coats on it's own plus top coat.

In the bottle, this was by far my favorite polish of the bunch. Unfortunately, the gorgeous glitter you see below was hard to get out of the bottle. I think most of it stuck to the side of the bottle. Such a shame because look how gorgeous! Oh and this too has holographic glitter!

Next I have Vicki - a Pink and Silver glitter polish.
I actually didn't know this but this polish was actually made as a Breast Cancer awareness polish.

Shown above is 3 coats over Ulta Parlez Vous Français? plus top coat. After seeing other swatches of this polish I'm kind of sad that I didn't put this polish over a darker pink because wow, this polish looks great over a real pink polish. You can view other swatches here.

The bottle shot looks kind of funky because of that strange green section at the top. But that's the way the glitter reflected. If you can see, there's also bar glitters in this polish, which is pretty cool because none of the other polishes have bar glitters. And yes, this polish has holographic glitters too!

Moving on, next is Jasmine! This is an Aquamarine mix of glitters. Of course you can't look at this polish and not think of the Disney princess Jasmine.

For this swatch I used 3 coats on it's own plus top coat. This polish is just gorgeous. Very mermaid-esque if you ask me. And it's a yes on the holographic glitter in this polish. I probably should have mentioned that all of the polishes are holographic. Too late now!

Next is Erica - a gorgeous green mix of glitters. This polish reminded me of mermaids too so I painted a quick accent nail.

Shown is actually 4 coats over Essie Absolutely Shore. This polish was a lot less dense than the rest of of the polishes but I actually love the subtlety to this polish. Plus the holographic glitter definitely makes up for it because this is easily the most holographic of the entire 14 polishes I tried. So pretty!

We've made it! I saved the best for last! This is Céline (very appropriately named)
This is a red berry polish with gold glitter. Shown below is just two coats on it's own plus top coat.

Yes, yes this has holographic glitter. Let's be honest, I'm biased toward this polish since we share a name, but wow is this polish gorgeous!

That's it folks! I hoped you enjoyed these polishes because I thoroughly enjoyed swatching them. I have nothing but good things to say about them because they all rocked my socks!

Sometimes with glitter polishes you have to "fish" for the actual glitters but this was definitely not the case here. All the formulas were just great.

I would suggest looking at Cindy's blog here to see more swatches of all her polishes.
Each polish sells for $12. If you happen to order today, however, you can get them for $10 each as part of her President's Day/Valentines Day sale. (ends today, 2/17)

Again the shop is here. and you can keep updated by liking her page on Facebook here.

If you read this entire post, you're the best and deserve a cookie.
Until next time,
