Born Pretty Sweet Color Nail Polish Review

It's that time again!
Born Pretty review time!

This time I received Sweet Color Nail Polish.

I've been wanting to try a polish from Born Pretty for a while now since I usually pick decorations. The color I chose was S207. They have numbers rather than names.

To be honest, at first I was very confused because the polish I received (pictured above) looked much more neon and dark than what I thought I chose. But I understand now because the polish is somewhat hard to photograph.

I used natural light from outside in these pictures.

The color came out different in most of the pictures I took. It's kind of a dark neon green. It's not nearly as light as it looks in the pictures.

APPLICATION:

This polish is almost a jelly but not quite. The application was so smooth and it was very nice to apply. I didn't have any issues with the brush, it's wide and works nicely. I think you could get by with two coats, but I painted three thin coats just to be sure. Topcoat evened it all out and it honestly looked great after I applied topcoat. So smooth and shiny!
Also, it dried pretty quickly, no problems there.

SIZE:

As you can see, the bottle says it is 12 ML. I believe the average polish contains 15 ML but it's not a huge difference. I never go through a whole bottle of polish anyway.

OTHER DETAILS:

On the site it says that the polish is "Eco-Friendly." I'm not quite sure what that means but I'll take their word for it. I'm not quite sure if this polish is 3-free. The smell wasn't too bad, I didn't really notice while I was painting. Also, although it looks like it, this polish does not stain! Definitely an added bonus.

Being me, I couldn't leave the nails plain.

I hand painted these mustaches on with acrylic paint.

The color of the polish is more accurate in these pictures.

The inspiration for the mustaches came from a bow that was sitting on my desk while I was painting.

OVERALL:

In all, I was really impressed by this polish. I've never used this brand before and the application was great. The only disappointment here would be the difficulty photographing this polish, but that's typical with neon type polishes. Drying time was great and my nails were so shiny!

Right now the polish is $6.14.
They have a large range of different colors available as well.
