G is for Giraffes!

My past few posts have strayed away from the Alphabet Nail art challenge. So I'm back with it.

The letter G is next and the original prompt was Graffiti but honestly graffiti isn't really my style. So I opted for G is for Giraffes!

I'm really happy with how these turned out. I think I say that about every design but I actually do love these. Definitely one of my favorite designs I've done.

I started with a base color of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (pictured). Then I used every shade of green acrylic paint possible and layered them on top of each other to look like plants and trees. It was a lot of dabbing and mixing.

The same technique was used on my thumb.

Okay this post was a lot of pictures and barely any text. I've forgotten how to blog I think.
