Good Afternoon!
I think today's review will be very helpful because I know how often I am asked about the brushes I use. So yes, todays review is on a great 4 piece nail art brush kit from Born Pretty!
Starting with the basics, it is this kit : here and it includes four different sized brushes.
I was very impressed, even when I first took them out of the package. I cut a few stray hairs from a couple of them but other than that, this is how thin they are.
I took macro shots of each brush as well.
Starting with the smallest :
Since I had received these brushes, I haven't gone back to using any others.
**** In the original review I posted pictures of designs I used these brushes for but they became inactive for some reason and I cannot for the life of me remember which photos they are. Sorry!
I've been using the #00 brush the most. It's thin and the perfect length for little details.
To be quite honest, I'm pretty picky with brushes. That said though, this set is great. I usually have to trim brushes down quite a bit before they're ready for detail work but I had to do no such thing with this set.
Like I said, I did have to trim a few hairs but that's almost unavoidable with brushes. This is a perfect set if you are a beginner and are looking for a good set to start with or if you are more advanced and you want some good detailing brushes.
Oh yes, another pro of this set is the price!
At only $3.51, this set is a steal. (not to mention free worldwide shipping too!) Even if you don't end up liking the set (which I highly doubt) at least you won't have made a huge investment.
I don't like to be so completely positive about products usually because I don't want to come off as fake and not true to my feelings, but I truly do love this set. I think the brushes are all great widths as well as lengths. You can bet that I will be using the #00 brush for most of my detail work in the future!

I love this brush set! Be careful to not spill acetone on the handles, though...they get gross and sticky really quickly. I'm super impressed with the gorgeous work you've done using these! I would have thought you used even thinner brushes. Thanks for another great post!
ReplyDeleteI'd wish, I could paint so well on my nails. What you drew is amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great brush set -- I'd be willing to pay way more than $3.50 to be able to do what you can do on your nails :) Too bad the brushes aren't everything, haha! Great review!
