Jamberry Nail Wraps Review

Happy Monday!
Unfortunately this has been a really busy week for me so I didn't have time to prepare a swatch comparison for you for yesterday.

I did however, put together a review of Jamberry Nail Wraps.

It was really difficult to choose a pattern because there were so many cute ones! In the end I chose their Vacay pattern, which is absolutely perfect for summer. Some nail wraps have really simple patterns but what I really like about Jamberry is that they have so many detailed wraps. This is definitely a design I couldn't paint on my own.

Now, these were pretty simple to apply.
1) Peel the wrap off the sheet.
2) Clip the wrap down to the general size of your nail.
3) (for best results) Heat the wrap with a hair dryer for a few seconds.
4) Place the wrap on your nail.
5) File the excess with a nail file
6) Heat once more with a hair dryer and press down the edges.

If you scroll back up, you can see that each wrap is pretty large, meaning that you could probably get two nails done from each wrap. Also, each sheet has 9 pairs (18 wraps total). That's one thing that I really like about this product, it's very easy to find a wrap that will fit each nail.

So I wanted to do a durability test with these so I wore them for a total of 5 days. The photo below shows immediately after I applied.

The instructions said nothing about applying top coat, so I didn't.
One issue I had with these, which I believe is common to all nail wraps, is that I did have creases with the wraps. You can definitely see on my middle finger in the photo above. I think it's impossible to have nail wraps that don't have this problem, however, because of the way nails are curved.

So the photo below shows how the wraps lasted over the 5 day period.

To be pretty honest, I was quite impressed. I honestly thought they would come off within a couple days but these babies stayed!
As you can see, around day three, the edges really started to peel. But I was definitely tough on these! I work in an elementary school and my nails truly take a beating every day.

Overall, I generally liked these.
The only thing that kind of bothered me was the fact that they stuck up a bit and would get caught in my hair when I ran my hands through.
I do believe these wraps last though. (I had to take them off for other reasons) Even on day five, they looked pretty good. When I took them off, my nails underneath weren't damaged.
Application was easy, I think it just takes practice.
These do sell for $15 and they have a huge array of designs here
I think this is a reasonable price, simply for the fact that people pay that, or more to get their nails done a plain color at a salon. Not to mention you could probably get two full manis out of one sheet.
I can definitely see these working perfectly for toes!

If you'd like to order these, you may do so here

I hope you found this to be interesting! I enjoyed trying something new!

Until next time,
